My Roanoke Story is a collaborative effort to highlight the amazing diversity of Roanokers and the talent pool of the Roanoke Valley.

Together with our media parters we strive to bring you, our visitors, an intriguing look at what it is to be a Roanoker by origin or adoption and the love we all share for Roanoke.

Please send us two or three paragraphs including who you are, where you’re from originally, your age range (20s, 50s, etc.), what you love about Roanoke and any other interesting details you care to share. Some of our Roanoke stories are solicited; other Roanoke stories have been sent in by our readers. We want to know you. You don’t have to be well known or popular. The only prerequisite is an active connection to Roanoke.
